THE GLOBAL STEEL INDUSTRY. In global steel industry the consumption of steel has been decreased drastically in 2007, in comparison to 2006. According to International Iron and Steel Institute (IISI) till 2010 the average demand for steel would be 4.9 per cent per year. But during 2010 and 2015 the growth is expected to be 4.2 per cent.
